Adopt a Duck for $5, Race for Prizes & Leave Your Mark on History!
Buy a Duck. Race for Prizes. Make History!
For just $5, adopt a virtual duck, give it a name, and enter our exciting Virtual Duck Race on Sunday, January 24, 2027! We'll hold multiple virtual races with chances to win prizes. Winners will be notified, so you don't need to be present!
But there's more! When we opened our 1995 time capsule, we discovered duck race cards from years gone by. Now it's your turn to make history!
Each duck comes with a special card where you can leave a message, memory, prediction, or advice for future generations. We'll preserve your card in our next community time capsule, to be opened in 2080!
Adopt one duck or a whole flock! Every $5 purchase supports the McKeesport Regional History & Heritage Center and helps preserve our community's history for generations to come.
